You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. or Canadian resident to use the Go-Station Mobile Application (the “Go-Station Mobile Application”). Go-Station, Inc. and its officers, directors, owners, employees, agents, representatives, and assigns are incorporated into and included in any reference to “Go-Station”, “Us,” and/or “We” herein.

We take Your privacy very seriously. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as it contains important information on how and why We collect, store, use, and share Your personal information when You the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the services made available through the Go-Station Mobile Application (the “Go-Station Services”). This Privacy Policy also explains Your rights in relation to Your personal information and how to contact Us.

By accessing, using, and/or submitting information through the Go-Station Mobile Application, You agree to this Privacy Policy and to Our Terms of Service.

Personal Information We Collect About You

We obtain the categories of personal information listed in the chart below from the following categories of sources:

  • Directly from You; We collect any personal information which You submit directly to the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services.
    • To the extent that You sign up for a Go-Station Mobile Application account, We collect the following personal information which You provide on Our registration form: Your email address, Apple id, or Google id.
    • To the extent that You provide Your credit card details to pay for electric vehicle charging services, We collect Your payment method through our third party service provider.
    • To the extent that You elect to complete Your Go-Station Mobile Application profile, We collect the personal information which You provide including: a profile picture, first name, last name, age range, gender, job, vehicle information (brand, model, year, plug type), and email address.
    • To the extent that You elect to provide additional information to Us through the Go-Station Mobile Application, We collect the personal information which You provide including: Your employment status. We may also collect additional information such as Your favorite loyalty and rewards program, hobbies, favorite brands, shopping preferences, and any additional information You provide in response to the prompts.
    • To the extent that You use the Go-Station Mobile Application, We collect Your location to display a corresponding map showing Your location and electric vehicle charging stations closest to Your location.
    • To the extent that You contact Us or request customer support, We collect the personal information that You submit, including Your name and email address. We also collect Your phone number as part of the customer support process, but do not use the information for marketing purposes.
  • Indirectly from You; We collect connected Wi-Fi, IP address, and Internet service provider information through Your access of the Go-Station Mobile Application and use of the Go-Station Services. We also collect personal information from observing Your actions on the Go-Station Mobile Application thorough cookies and tracking pixels. A cookie is a small data text file, which is stored on a user’s browser that can later be retrieved to identify You to Us. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies can later be retrieved to identify You to Us and to store Your preferences within the Go-Station Mobile Application. Tracking pixels (also known as web beacons, 1×1 pixels, or clear GIFs) are code requiring a call back to a server to render, and which deliver information to Us about Your IP address and information from Your browser.
    • To the extent You use the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services, cookies and tracking pixels are used to track Your interaction with the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services. Cookies and tracking pixels may collect information about You, such as Your IP address, Your last login, Your browser type and version, device id, operating system, software and platform, geographic location, the date and time of Your visit, and the time spent on the Go-Station Mobile Application.
    • To the extent that You view any advertisements featured on the Go-Station Mobile Application, We automatically collect information on which advertisements You viewed through the use of cookies and tracking pixels. We may receive compensation from third party advertisers and/or advertising network(s) based on the performance of advertisements made available through the Go-Station Services.
    • To the extent that You utilize a promotional code, we automatically collect information on which promotional code You used, to track the number of promotional codes used across the Go-Station Services for that particular offer.
    • Third party cookies and tracking pixels may also be used to track the featured advertisements on the Go-Station Mobile Application.

Tracking and How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals: You can instruct Your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent, by visiting the preferences or settings page of Your web browser. In the event that Your browser requests that We do not track You or store a cookie, unless otherwise required by law to honor the requests, We do not guarantee that We will honor such requests. Please note that We do not guarantee that the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services will work properly in the event that You elect to opt out of Our tracking or use of cookies.

 

How We Use and Share Collected Personal Information

The Go-Station Services allow consumers to find an electric vehicle charging station, initiate a charge, and pay for charging services. Advertisements are displayed to consumers through the Go-Station Mobile Application, and compensate account holders with charging discounts and additional incentives.

We use the personal information that We gather through the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services to allow individuals to access and interact with the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or to use the Go-Station Services.

Specifically, We use the information collected through the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services to track Your access and interaction with the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services. We may also use the information collected through the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services to track the performance of the third party advertisements featured on the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services, including views. We also use information collected to fulfill any requests which You submit to Us; to process charging payments; to personalize and improve the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services and functionality of the same; for Our advertising/marketing purposes; to supplement Our internal database; to perform analytics and statistically analyze and monitor use of the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services; and to detect security incidents, and protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; and to debug, to identify, perform diagnostics, and repair errors that affect functionality the of the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services.

We and Our third party advertisers and/or advertising network(s) may collect and use personal information about You obtained through cookies and tracking pixels, to track the performance of a particular advertisement. We and Our third party advertisers and/or advertising network(s) may automatically collect information when an individual views an advertisement, through the use of cookies and tracking pixels. As noted above, in the event that Your web browser requests that We do not track You or store a cookie, unless otherwise required by law to do so, We do not guarantee that We will honor such requests.

Information Collected From Third Parties: In addition to collecting personal information through the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services, We also collect personal information through third party advertisers and/or advertising network(s) who place advertisements. We may receive compensation from third party advertisers and/or advertising network(s) based on the performance of the featured advertisements. Third party cookies and tracking pixels may also be used to track the performance of the featured advertisements. We and Our third party advertisers and advertising network(s) may automatically collect information on whether individuals interact with the featured advertisements on the Go-Station Mobile Application.

We may share personal information with Our third party service providers who provide the platforms and app stores through which the Go-Station Mobile Application is made available, namely, Apple Platforms & Services, Android, and Google Platforms & Services. All data collected through the Go-Station Mobile Application and Go-Station Services, including personal information, are stored on the Amazon Web Services cloud server. We may share the personal information collected through Your use of the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services with Our third party advertisers and/or advertising network(s) and Our third party service providers, including but not limited to the following: Google Places, EVC Connect, Zendesk, Hubspot, and Our payment processor service provider, Braintree. Sharing and disclosure of personal information with Our third party service providers provides individuals with the ability to search for and locate an electric vehicle charging station; initiate a charge; pay for charging services; view advertisements; receive special promotional offers and discounts for charging services; and to receive customer support.

We may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide personal information to the appropriate governmental authorities. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Our business, Your personal information may also be transferred. In the event We become the subject of an insolvency proceeding, whether voluntary or involuntary, We or Our liquidator, administrator, receiver or administrative receiver may sell, license or otherwise dispose of, such personal information in a transaction approved by the court.

 

Transfer, Processing, and Storage of Information

Your personal information may be transferred to, processed, and stored outside of Your state, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of Your jurisdiction. If you are located outside United States, please note that the personal information We collect through the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services may be processed in and outside of the United States, including in any country where We, or our third party service providers operate. We will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your personal information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and that no transfer takes place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of Your data. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

 

Security.

The security of Your data is important to Us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security. As a result, You acknowledge that there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet which are beyond Our control; the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between You and Us through the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services cannot be guaranteed; and any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party. We make no warranty, express, implied, or otherwise, regarding the security of the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services and Your personal information.

 

Third Party Links and Offers.

The Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services may contain links to third party featured advertisements and to their corresponding websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any such third parties. This Privacy Policy only addresses Our use and disclosure of information which We collect from You. Any third party websites which are accessible through the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or the Go-Station Services and the companies to whom Your information is transferred, have their own privacy policies and data collection, use and disclosure practices. Please consult each third party website’s privacy policy. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties or their sites. Additionally, third party advertisers and advertising network(s) may collect personal information about You when You interact with advertisements, through the use of cookies and tracking pixels. We cannot control this collection of such personal information. You should contact these third parties directly if You have any questions about their use of the personal information that they collect. Any sharing of offers through third party platforms shall be in compliance with such third party platforms’ terms of service.

 

Children.

You must be an adult of 18 years or older to use the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or Go-Station Services. We do not target to children. Consistent with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”), We will never knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.  If You are aware that Your minor child under the age of 13 has provided Us with personal information, please contact Us.

 

California Residents.

Under California’s Shine the Light law (California Civil Code Section 1789.83), California residents have the right to request, once a year, information on the types of personal information that We have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year; and the names and addresses of third parties with whom We have shared the personal information. To make such a request, please email Us at Support@Go-Station.com. Please note that We are only required to respond to one request per customer each year, and We are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through this email address.

Nevada Residents.

Nevada residents have certain rights regarding the sale of personal data, and may opt out of the future sale of their data to a third party by emailing Us at Support@Go-Station.com. We do not currently sell any of Our users’ personal data.

 

Changes.

This Privacy Policy was published and last updated as of the date noted above. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by updating this posting. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted. You acknowledge and agree that it is Your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and to be aware of any modifications. Your use of the Go-Station Mobile Application and/or Go-Station Services after such modifications will constitute Your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
